GENERAL FRENCH CLASSES FOR ADULTS
At French à la Carte, the emphasis is placed on speaking and understanding the language with the right balance of fluency and accuracy. Our General French classes consist of expression and comprehension activities with relevant grammar and vocabulary exercises.
Most importantly, we promote learning by tying in practical as well as cultural aspects of life in a French-speaking country. Progression is tailored to the level and interests of the group being taught.
We currently offer more than 30 group classes of all levels, from complete beginners to very advanced.
2hr lessons to learn all there is to know about French in all 4 competences: reading, writing, speaking and listening.
Our General French classes consist of expression and comprehension activities with relevant grammar and vocabulary exercises.
Our Beginner to Intermediate classes (A1, A2 and B1) use the textbook Prêt-à-Parler. For the Advanced and Fluency levels, the teacher provides material suitable to the level, usually following the news and the group's interests.
Level: A1 to C2

This course is designed for Beginners or False-Beginners in French and will give you all the tools you need to survive in France: cultural insights, language tips and small everyday conversations and interactions.
Join this class for a Refresher or if you're completely new to French -- everyone is welcome!
